If RX received data is 128B/130B encoded, it must be decoded. The GTY and GTYP transceivers have a built-in 128B/130B encoder in the TX and a 128B/130B decoder in the RX without consuming device resources. Support for the 128B/130B decoder in GTY and GTYP transceivers is only be available through the PCIe PHY IP.
