The term Super Sample Rate strictly means the processing of more than one sample per clock cycle. Since the AIE is a vector processor, almost every operation is SSR by this definition making it superfluous. Therefore, in the AIE context SSR is taken to mean an implementation using multiple computation paths to improve performance at the expense of additional resource use.
