You can use strategies, directives and subdirectives to find the optimal solution for a design. In Project Mode, strategies are available for each individual run. Selecting a run strategy applies preselected directives and subdirectives to individual steps of the run, which are stored as run properties. You can override these manually by directly modifying these run properties or alternatively, by creating your own custom run strategies. In Non-Project Mode, you must apply directives and subdirectives manually to each individual flow command.

Note: Subdirectives only apply to the
place_design
