Performance bottlenecks can occur at many places within the NoC. The memory-first debug method is the recommended approach to determine the cause of the performance bottlenecks. In this method, you start by measuring the memory subsystems and then work backwards towards the masters initiating traffic. The following flowchart shows the debug process for diagnosing and correcting low-bandwidth issues.
