The lane_up assertion indicates that the communication between the transceiver and its channel partner is established and link training is successful. The LANE_INIT_SM module FSM state signals must be brought to debug if lane_up is not asserted. For a simplex-timer core, check and follow the reset sequence requirement. If the TX transceiver needs to be reset as per the system design, increase the C_ALIGNED_TIMER, C_BONDED_TIMER, and C_VERIFY_TIMER attributes based on the latency between the release of TX_RESET and RX_RESET. See the Lane Initialization Procedure in the Aurora 8B/10B Protocol Specification v2.2 (SP002) [Ref 5] for lane_up assertion.
