Loopback modes are specialized configurations of the transceiver datapath. The Aurora 8B/10B example design loopback port controls the loopback modes. Four loopback modes are available. Refer to the respective transceiver user guide for more information. This Figure illustrates a loopback test configuration with four different loopback modes.
