Limitations - 2024.1 English

Below are some limitations to profiling the NoC:

• This utility only supports profiling NMU nodes. Profiling support for NSU nodes is not available at this time.
• This utility uses JTAG to collect profiling data which results in relatively slower sampling intervals.
• This utility is not suitable for profiling the design for short time bursts. The vperf utility performs better if NoC traffic is active over longer periods of time (few seconds minimum).
• It is recommended that you limit the number of nodes being profiled to 4 to avoid missing profiling sample data.
