In Freerun mode, sfptpd will synchronize all clocks in the
server, including the system clock, to the high precision oscillator on the selected PTP
adapter.
For this mode, use the default freerun.cfg file:
- from the tarball package:
cd <install_dir> ./sfptpd -i <interface> -f config/freerun.cfg - from the binary RPM package:
cd /usr/share/doc/packages/sfptpd/ sfptpd -i <interface> -f config/freerun.cfg
where <interface> is the identifier of the timestamping port on the adapter.
