To install using a tarball package:

  1. Unpack the compressed file: 
    # tar -zxvf SF-108910-LS-<version>-*.tgz

Files Installed

To list the files that are installed:

# tar -ztvf SF-108910-LS-<version>.tgz
...

Startup Components

  • The sfptpd executable is installed in the bin directory. It is not started by default, so you can first ensure its configuration is appropriate.
  • A systemd UNIT file is installed at: 
    lib/systemd/system/sfptpd.service
