Previous sfptpd
releases allowed a maximum Delay-Request interval of 4 (24 =16
seconds) ignoring any larger value set by an upstream master clock. Version 3.3.0.1007
sfptpd
aligns with the IEEE-1588 default PTP specification which supports an interval of
5 (25=32 seconds).
Note: A Delay-Request interval of 32 seconds is not recommended and might lead to poor
synchronization performance. Ideally the Delay-Request interval will be at the same rate
as received SYNC messages.
