The Netlist window uses the following icons to represent the state
of netlist logic:
- Bus
- I/O bus
- Net
- I/O net
- Hierarchical cell (logic)
- Hierarchical cell (black box)
Note: Hierarchical cells that do not contain netlists or logic content are interpreted by the Vivado IDE as black boxes. A hierarchical cell might be a black box by design or might be the result of a coding error or missing file. - Hierarchical cell (assigned to a Pblock)
- Hierarchical cell (black box assigned to a Pblock)
- Primitive cell (assigned to a Pblock)
- Primitive cell (placed and assigned to a Pblock)
- Primitive cell (unplaced)
- Primitive cell (placed)
