The TPG core provides a variety of test patterns to test a video processing core or system by feeding known patterns through the Video over AXI4-Stream interface.
The core accepts video data provided through an AXI4-Stream slave interface (when configured with a slave interface), outputs pixels through an AXI4-Stream master interface, and can be controlled through an AXI4-Lite interface.
The TPG block cannot change the input/output image sizes, the input and output pixel clock rates, or the frame rate.
