The PDI is a Xilinx format file which is processed by the PMC as part
of the Versal ACAP boot process. The full PDI contains the following
information needed to boot, configure, and manage the Versal
ACAP.
- Boot header
- PLM
- Meta header that contains an image header table, image tables, and partition tables.
- Additional subsystem images and image partitions used to configure the Versal ACAP.
The folowing figure shows an example PDI.
