The AXI EPU IP core is used in applications where in a system the following actions can be performed:
- Permit/restrict different AXI managers from accessing specified memory regions.
- Protect groups of PL peripherals
- Enable access for specific managers and block others
- Provide different read/write or read-only access for different managers
