Post-Configuration Access to SPI Flash Memory with Virtex-5 FPGAs Application Note (XAPP1020) - Normally, the SPI flash memory is used only for configuration. This document describes a reference design that demonstrates how to provide a user application with access to the SPI flash memory after it is used to configure the FPGA.
