Xilinx FPGAs Overcome the Side Effects of Sub-90 nm Technology (WP256) - Modern CMOS processes with their smaller geometries cause certain undesirable side effects. These issues are reviewed with respect to their effect on system design using ASSP, ASIC, or FPGA devices, and what Xilinx has done to alleviate the potential problem.
