This application note describes guidelines and best practices for designing heatsinks and thermal solutions for AMD devices. It includes upfront considerations for selection, design, and test to adequately plan and execute a successful thermal solution for all AMD devices. While this guide describes recommended practices it is not a definitive guide, and thermal design of a product should be considered part of the normal engineering process and sign off.
