This quick start guide is designed to assist you in using the pre-built VVAS components provided in this release. While post-processing requirements differ across models, this solution features the resnet50_int8 and yolox_m_int8 models. VVAS 6.3 is supported on VEK385 (Rev-A and Rev-B) and ve2-xc2ve3558. MIPI camera pipelines are supported on VEK385 Rev-B only, with dedicated hardware and a corresponding software package required as part of the setup. You have the flexibility to develop and integrate your own software-based or hardware accelerated post-processing into the solution to meet specific needs.
The Neural Processing Unit (NPU) is specifically crafted for AI inference, aimed at accelerating the deployment of neural networks. It primarily uses AMD’s AI Engine for mathematical operations, while the complete system solution also incorporates programmable logic hardware to accelerate pre-processing.
