The following pipeline composes four 1920x1080 BGR camera streams into a
3840x2160 output. Each v4l2src uses DMA-BUF import so that it can accept
the tile buffer pool proposed by vvas_xtilecompositor. This example does
not perform inference.
gst-launch-1.0 -e \
vvas_xtilecompositor name=comp \
xclbin-location=/run/media/mmcblk0p1/x_plus_ml.xclbin \
! video/x-raw,format=BGR,width=3840,height=2160 \
! filesink location=output_tiled.bgr \
v4l2src device=/dev/video1 io-mode=dmabuf-import \
! video/x-raw,format=BGR,width=1920,height=1080,framerate=30/1 \
! comp.sink_0 \
v4l2src device=/dev/video3 io-mode=dmabuf-import \
! video/x-raw,format=BGR,width=1920,height=1080,framerate=30/1 \
! comp.sink_1 \
v4l2src device=/dev/video5 io-mode=dmabuf-import \
! video/x-raw,format=BGR,width=1920,height=1080,framerate=30/1 \
! comp.sink_2 \
v4l2src device=/dev/video7 io-mode=dmabuf-import \
! video/x-raw,format=BGR,width=1920,height=1080,framerate=30/1 \
! comp.sink_3
Note
Initialize the four-camera MIPI/ISP platform before running this pipeline.
The camera initialization and example scripts are installed under
/etc/vvas/examples/camera/ in the VEK385 MIPI Streaming AI Reference
Design image. A manually built VVAS installer must include the camera
examples.
Note
A file-source pipeline is not supported for this use case because
filesrc does not accept the DMA-BUF buffer pool proposed by the
compositor. Use a V4L2 source with io-mode=dmabuf-import.
