Software kernels are software modules that run on the application processor. The acceleration software library for these processing modules does not interact with the XRT interface. The interface APIs that abstract the XRT interface are not needed. You must implement the core API in the acceleration software library for use in the GStreamer application through VVAS infrastructure plug-ins.
