This section covers the steps to develop an acceleration software library for hard kernels.
Note
It is assumed that hard kernel work only on physical address. Hence, infrastructure plug-ins will only provide a physical address for the input/output buffers. If for any reason you want to access the input/output buffers in the software acceleration library, then map the buffer and get the virtual address.
The virtual address is populated by infrastructure plug-ins only for the software acceleration library for “software only” kernels.
