The Vivado 2025.1 and beyond releases introduce the following changes in licensing that are listed below:
- Flexera version for license management tool has been upgraded to 11.17.2.0.
- Anyone using floating license is required to upgrade licensing utilities to Flex 11.17.2.0. These new licensing utilities are available on the AMD Downloads Website.
Note: Flex version upgrade does not affect valid
license files, in other words, existing valid license files work with the Vivado 2025.1 release after you upgrade the licensing
utilities.
