Vivado Design Suite User Guide: Getting Started (UG910)

Use the following command to start the Vivado Design Suite Tcl shell at the Linux command prompt or within a Windows command prompt window:

vivado -mode tcl

Note: On Windows, you can also select Start > All Programs > AMD Adaptive SoC and FPGA Tools > Vivado <version> > Vivado <version> Tcl Shell.
