You can view the AMD tool and hardware documentation in the AMD Documentation Navigator or on the AMD website. The AMD Documentation Navigator is integrated with the Vivado Design Suite. It provides an environment to access and manage the entire set of AMD documentation for hardware and software products, training, and support materials.
To open the AMD Documentation Navigator:
- In the Vivado IDE, select any documentation link on the Getting Started page or in the Help menu.
- On Windows, select . Note: You can also double-click the DocNav shortcut icon on your desktop
- At the Linux command prompt, enter
docnav.
Features of the AMD Documentation Navigator include:

- AMD Documentation Navigator manages downloading AMD documentation to your local desktop.
- Documentation Update
- AMD Documentation Navigator monitors document updates on the AMD website and notifies you when documents are updated.
