The Timing Constraints window displays the timing constraints in memory. They appear in the same sequence as in the XDC files, Tcl scripts, or the Tcl Console entry order. For more details, refer to Creating Synthesis Constraints.

Open the Timing Constraints window using one of these options:

  • Select Window > Timing Constraints.
  • In the Synthesis section of the Flow Navigator panel, select Synthesized Design > Edit Timing Constraints.
  • In the Implementation section of the Flow Navigator panel, select Implemented Design > Edit Timing Constraints.

The Timing Constraints window displays the timing constraints in memory. They appear in the same sequence as in the XDC files and Tcl scripts, or in the order they were entered in the Tcl Console.

Some of the constraints cannot be edited from this window. The tool marks these constraints with the XDC No Edit icon .
