You can set bus skew constraints in multiple ways.

  1. Open the timing constraints editor by selecting Window > Timing Constraint > Assertion > Set Bus Skew.
  2. From the timing constraints editor add, remove, or modify bus skew constraints.
Note: Locked IP bus skew constraints cannot be edited.
  3. Or open the report CDC GUI by selecting Reports > Timing > Report CDC.
  4. In the CDC Details tables, select one or more rows that include at least two startpoints and two endpoints.
  5. Right-click and select Set Bus Skew.
  6. Select Startpoint to Endpoint to set a bus skew constraint between the startpoints and endpoints included in the selected row(s).

  7. In the Set Bus Skew dialog box, set the bus skew value, the startpoints, and the endpoints, as shown in the figure.

  8. Vivado does not verify the validity of setting a bus skew constraint on the selected objects. Ensure the constraint makes sense for the selected objects.
