If the CMB instance is located inside the hierarchy of the design, the local net name (that is, the name without its parent cell name) is used for the generated clock name.
For example, for a hierarchical net called
clkip/cpuClk:
- The parent cell name is
clkip. - The generated clock name is
cpuClk.
