A relatively placed macro (RPM) is a set of basic logic elements (BELs) that you group together. Examples of logic elements include the following:
- FF
- LUT
- DSP
- RAM
Use RPMs to place small groups of logic close together. This helps improve resource efficiency and enables faster interconnections.
