To define the installation path:

  1. Select Tools > Settings > Tool Settings > 3rd Party Simulators.
  2. Select a simulator under the Install Paths. Browse or paste the address to the installation path.
  3. Select the appropriate simulator under Default Compiled Library Paths and browse to the relevant compiled library paths. You can set the library paths at a later point in time. See Compiling Simulation Libraries for more information on how to compile libraries for your simulator.
    Note: Installing Vivado simulator is part of Vivado IDE Installation. You do not need to set an install location for Vivado simulator.
