The optional Core Container simplifies revision control by storing IP configuration files and output products in a single binary file (XCIX). This file replaces the loose directory structure.
The XCIX file is similar to the XCI file and operates the same way in Vivado. For more details, refer to Vivado Design Suite User Guide: Designing with IP (UG896).
