Run simulations using a resolution of 1 ps. Some AMD primitive components, such as MMCM, require a 1 ps resolution to function properly in functional or timing simulation.
Tip: Most simulation time occurs in
delta cycles, so coarser resolutions do not improve performance with AMD simulation models. Avoid finer resolutions like
femtoseconds (fs); some simulators round numbers while others truncate them.
