In the Vivado IDE, you interactively edit the active design in memory. Save the design when you change constraints, netlists, or parameters such as power analysis characteristics, hardware configuration modes, and debug settings. When editing an open design, you can save changes to your original XDC constraint files or to a new constraint set.
