You can use the Vivado Design Suite to configure, implement, verify, and integrate IP as a standalone module or within a system-level design. IP can include logic, embedded processors, digital signal processing (DSP) modules, or C-based DSP algorithm designs. You can package custom IP following IP-XACT protocol, then make it available through the Vivado IP catalog. The IP catalog gives you quick access to IP for configuration, instantiation, and validation.
AMD IP uses the AXI4 interconnect standard to enable faster system-level integration. You can include existing IP in RTL or netlist format within your design. For more details refer to the Vivado Design Suite User Guide: Designing with IP (UG896).
