After configuring synthesis and implementation settings in the Settings dialog box, launch synthesis or implementation runs using one of the following methods:
- In the Flow Navigator:
- Select .
- For Versal adaptive SoC, select Generate Device Image.
- In the Design Runs window:
- Right-click a run.
- Select Launch Runs, or click Launch Selected Runs.
- From the menu:
- Select , , or .
- For Versal adaptive SoC, select Generate Device Image.
Create multiple synthesis or implementation runs to test different constraints or tool settings. Follow these instructions to create additional runs:
- In the Flow Navigator, right-click Synthesis or Implementation.
- Select Create Synthesis Runs or Create Implementation Runs.
- In the Create New Runs wizard, select the constraint set and target part.
Figure 1. Creating Multiple Synthesis and Implementation Runs
If multiple synthesis runs exist, select the netlist when creating implementation runs. Create runs with varied strategies, constraint sets, or devices. Launch runs sequentially or in parallel across multiple local processors.
