In Project Mode, configure synthesis and implementation using settings in the Settings dialog box. Vivado passes these settings to runs through run strategies. A run strategy is a saved set of run configuration parameters.
AMD provides several predefined strategies for synthesis and implementation, or you can apply custom configurations. You can also use separate constraint sets for synthesis and implementation. For details, refer to the Vivado Design Suite User Guide: Synthesis (UG901) and the Vivado Design Suite User Guide: Implementation (UG904).
Tip: Create an out-of-context module run
to synthesize IP within the project. If you generate a design checkpoint for IP, Vivado's default behavior creates an out-of-context run for each
IP.
