Intelligent design runs (IDR) use a multi-stage run approach to automatically close timing on your design. In Vivado IDE, right-click an implementation run in the Design Runs window and select Close Timing Using Intelligent Design Runs. You can also invoke the IDR flow in Tcl by creating a new run and setting the reference run appropriately.
