Close designs to reduce memory usage and prevent multiple locations where you edit sources. Vivado sometimes prompts you to close a design before switching to another design representation.
Use one of the following options to close an individual design:
- In the design title bar, click the close button (X).
- In the Flow Navigator, right-click the design, and select Close.
