The AMD Vitis™ unified software platform adds acceleration use cases to Vivado flows. In this design methodology, you use Vivado to create a platform consumed by the Vitis software platform for adding accelerated kernels. Your hardware design consists of both the platform and the accelerators. In this case, the Vitis software platform creates the final bitstream because Vivado does not contain the complete design.
