Transition minimized differential signaling (TMDS) is a differential I/O standard for transmitting high-speed serial data used by the DVI and HDMI™ video interfaces. The TMDS standard requires external 50 Ω pull-up resistors to 3.3V on the inputs. TMDS inputs do not require parallel input termination resistors. TMDS is only available in HR I/O banks and requires a V CCO voltage level of 3.3V. The IOSTANDARD is called TMDS_33.
Table: Allowed Attributes for the TMDS I/O Standard summarizes the allowed attributes for the TMDS I/O standard. Support is implied for primitives that are derivatives of the primitives listed in Table: Allowed Attributes for the TMDS I/O Standard (for example: *_DIFF_OUT, *_DCIEN, *_IBUFDISABLE, or *_INTERMDISABLE). Refer to the SelectIO Interface Primitives section for all supported derivatives.
