va.fi(sign, width, fraction)	Fixed-point type. dtype="fi(s, w, f)" also works.
va.cfi(sign, width, fraction)	Complex fixed-point type.
va.mx4(roundingMethod=0)	MX4 block float (16 values/block).
va.mx6(roundingMethod=0)	MX6 block float.
va.mx9(roundingMethod=0)	MX9 block float.

Pass the bare class (va.mx9) for defaults, the function call (va.mx9(roundingMethod=12)) to override rounding, or the string form ("mx9", "fi(1,16,8)") anywhere dtype= is accepted.
