Every component follows the same four-step pattern:

  1. Create: Call the class with name-value pairs.
  2. Configure: Optional (for example,setPortDump).
  3. Run: Call run() with varray inputs.
  4. Inspect / clear: Read outputs as varrays. Use the clear command on the object to release resources.

The run() method accepts any of these input formats:

Format Example
Individual varray args kernel.run(a, b, c)
Cell array of varrays kernel.run({a, b, c})
Single 2-D varray (multi-port) kernel.run(m): each column → one input port

The number of inputs must match the input-port count reported by getInputSpec(). Outputs are always returned as column vectors. Reshape afterwards if you need a different layout.
