Each complex type stores a real and imaginary part of the underlying scalar type. Storage width is twice the scalar width.

varray.cint8, varray.cint16, varray.cint32, varray.cint64, varray.cuint8, varray.cuint16, varray.cuint32, varray.cuint64, varray.cfloat, varray.cdouble, varray.chalf, varray.cbfloat16.

Passing complex data to a non-complex constructor raises an error (for example,varray.int32(complex(...)) → "For complex integers use varray.cint32"). Use real() / imag() to split a complex array into two real varray objects.
