The traditional method of configuring networking in KVM virtualized
environments uses the para-virtualized (PV) driver, virtio-net, in the virtual machine. Bridging is handled by the host.
Network traffic passes via a PCIe physical function (PF) to the network adapter. This does not use any of the virtualization features provided by the AMD Solarflare adapter.
