The following section is for Versal projects only and is not applicable to data center projects.
Adaptive data flow (ADF) graph applications targeting AI Engines can be developed as AI Engine components (see Managing the AI Engine Component in the Vitis Unified IDE). You can build, simulate, analyze and debug these components as a standalone component. You can then add them to a system project as part of an embedded system design or for application acceleration in a data center. See Managing the AI Engine Component in the Vitis Unified IDE.
You can use an AI Engine component in a larger system design from the command line. See Building and Running the System in the Data Center Acceleration using Vitis (UG1700) . Also see Vitis unified IDE as described under Creating a System Project for Heterogeneous Computing.
