The data path application (DP_app) runs on the DPU Arm® complex and helps install flow entries in the ingress pipeline based on traffic by reading the first packet. DP_app processes the packets that are coming in from P4 and support flow aging. DP_app is also responsible for removing TCP flows closed based on a FIN or an RST packet.
