The XRF4-RFBB’s main 12 V DC input power supply is taken from either the RFMC
2.0 connectors or the onboard Molex 0039301060 DC connector, J1dc. This DC source feeds
three DC-DC converters that source DC to the RF slice power supply units (RFPSUs). The
following figure illustrates the XRF4 DC power tree.
Important: When inserting multiple slices on the XRF4-RFBB, it
is important to consider the VDD requirement for the RF slices. The
difference between the minimum and maximum VDD setting of the installed
slices must be less than 3 V.
