Follow these steps to assemble the XRF4 kit.
Note: Use a #1 cross drive screwdriver to complete the
assembly.
- Remove the set of four jack screws and washers from the ZCU670/ZCU208 board.
- Align the XRF4 with the ZCU670/ZCU208 RFMC connectors as shown in the
following figure and mate the boards. The maximum torque for the jack screws is
3.0 in-lb (0.34 N-m). The subsequent figure shows the mated assemblies.
- Observing the following figure, remove the set of four M3 and four M2.5
screws from the SLICE4 and SLICE5 positions. Install the XRF4-M-TX3342-01 RF
slice to the SLICE5 position and the XRF4-M-FB3342-01 slice to the SLICE4
position. The maximum screw torque is 3.0 in-lb (0.34 N-m).
- Load the current XRF4 image from the DFE Lounge to the SanDisk 32 GB SD card.
- Install the SD card to the XRF4-RFBB.
- Verify all ZCU670 or ZCU208 board switches are in the default positions as described in the Switches section in the ZCU670 Evaluation Board User Guide (UG1532) or ZCU208 Evaluation Board User Guide (UG1410).
- Verify XRF4-RFBB switches are in the default position as described in Table 1.
- Power on the ZCU670/ZCU208 board.
- Power on the XRF4-RFBB.
