X3 Low Latency Quickstart - UG1586

This appendix demonstrates how to achieve very low latency coupled with minimum jitter on a system fitted with an X3 series network adapter and using the OpenOnload kernel-bypass network acceleration middleware.

The procedure focuses on the performance of the network adapter for TCP and UDP applications running on Linux, using the AMD supplied open source sfnettest network benchmark test tools, and also the industry-standard Netperf network benchmark application.
