This section identifies the procedures to build and install Onload from a tarball. It uses OpenOnload as an example, but the same procedures apply to any other Onload distributions in this format.
Important: This package format is
deprecated and might be removed in a future release. A Source RPM or Source DEB package
provides better integration with the OS, and you should instead use those package
formats.
