The AMD Vitis™ Unified IDE provides a simplified method for exporting or importing one or more AMD Vitis™ Unified IDE projects or components within your workspace.
Export Vitis Component
When exporting a component, the component is archived in a ZIP file with all the relevant files needed to import to another workspace.
- To export a component, select from the main menu.
The Vitis Export Workspace wizard opens, where you can select the component or components in the current workspace to export as shown in the following figure.
- Select the component you want to export
- Click Browse to select a location to save the Archive file. Then, click Next.
- Review the summary of the exported components and click Finish.
Note: The selected Vitis Unified
IDE components are archived in the specified file and location, and can be imported
into the Vitis Unified IDE under a different workspace, on a
different computer, by a different user.
Import Vitis Component
- To import a project, select from the top menu.
The Vitis Import Workspace wizard opens, where you can select the archive file and specify the new workspace as shown in the following figure.
- Select the archive file to be imported and specify the new workspace and click Next.
- Select the component you want to import to your workspace in this page and click Next.
- Review the summary of the imported components and click Finish.
